Question : What you can do to remove data from the cache and query plans from memory for testing the performance of a query repeatedly?

Answer : If you want to run your query and test its performance under the same circumstances each time, use command DBCC DROPCLEANBUFFERS after each run to remove the data from the memory and DBCC FREEPROCCACHE to remove the query plans from the memory.
